Privacy & Cookies

This is my personal site, thekristahilton.com. I wrote this in plain language so you can see what happens to anything you share here.

What I collect

If you only read the pages, I don't ask for your name, email, or anything else. There is no account to create and no newsletter signup on this site.

If you apply to work with me, the form asks for your name, email, phone if you want to leave it, company, role, team size, what the company does, what you're called to build, what keeps landing on your desk, why you reached out now, and how you found me.

How I use it

I read every application myself. I use what you send to decide whether working together makes sense, and to reply to you. I don't sell it, and I don't use it for advertising.

The form is emailed to hello@thekristahilton.com. A copy is also saved in a private spreadsheet so an application doesn't get lost in an inbox.

If you book a discovery call, that calendar belongs to Google. Substack, if you open it from the menu, is Substack. Those sites have their own rules once you leave this one.

Cookies

I don't use advertising cookies, marketing cookies, or ad trackers. Opening a page does not set a cookie so I can follow you around the web.

The type on this site is loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser may tell Google the address of the page so the letters can load. That is not a cookie I set, and it is not used to advertise to you.

Who else touches the site

The site is hosted with Grok Build on Vercel. They keep ordinary server logs, such as an IP address, browser, and which page was opened, so the site can run and stay secure. I don't use those logs to market to you.

The application email is delivered by a form mail service, then it lands in my inbox and that private spreadsheet. Those tools only see an application because you chose to send one.

Your choices

You can ask me what I have from you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. If the place you live gives you extra privacy rights, use the same email and I will honor them.
