This comes in a business plan a lot, but it doesn’t integrate ONE major piece of the puzzle.

WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOUR PERSONAL VALUES, VISIONS, WHY, WHO AND HOW?

The merge of the two is what makes a business that you can scale with, make an impact, sustain integrity and be energetic about through the life of the business.

ORGANIZE by making your business plan and doing the practicle part. Decide who you are selling to, what kind of person you want to hire and what kind of systems your business will need.

SELL by getting out there and doing the thing. Does your customer want what you have in the way you have it? The how of your delivery is made by tweeking the orginal business plan to meet reality.

RE-ORGANIZE by evaluating and iterating based on the testing you’ve done.

Here’s the key part: the process doesn’t end here. The cycle starts over. But instead of starting from scratch, you enter the next phase of growth by checking back in with your values, vision, why, who, and how. Every time you level up, you revisit these foundational elements to ensure you’re aligned.

If your only objective was to make money, chances are you will probably make money at least on paper. However, since the motive is shallow and lacks depth, a few things will most likely happen:

🚨You will hate what you do
🚨The business will own you
🚨Your energy will be drained.

Eventually, you’ll get bored and resent your business. Once that resentment creeps in, you’ll feel trapped. And because your survival depends on the business, you’ll blame anyone or anything - else your employees, your spouse, the economy - while refusing to look at the real problem: you built your business without integrating your deeper purpose.
